A Gloomy Dawn...

IN LOVING MEMORIES OF MY BELOVED HAMSTER, SALT.

Salt, a female Syrian hamster, was called home to be with the Lord on the 11th of December, 2009. She came to the family also on the month of December but in the year 2008.

Ever since the day she came into my life, she made it a cheerful one. She gave me a reason to live. Some of you might say that it is just a rodent. To me, Salt wasn't just a companion, she was a family...

I never once gave up on her the day she got sick. I told myself, "This hamster has cured so many sorrows in my life more than any of my pals in the world could do. Whenever I am sad or down, she would always come and stare at me with that almond black eyes, as though she's telling me that everything will be fine. She would run around and play happily in her home, telling me that life should always be a happy one. She would sleep and look so cute that it gave me a reason to once again feel love for another being. If she stayed by me throughout all these time, I would not let her go without me being by her side." I nursed her while she was sick, gave her all the treats before left. Even the vet knows that this hamster's time has come. No one can stop the ravaging disease within her.

The least I can do for her was, to prepare a proper funeral for her. I thank all of you viewers, for attending this obituary. Salt was extremely important to me. She was like a daughter, who taught me to love again. Though she is now gone, her memories will be kept with me forever.
I thank you for this Salt. I love you, Salt, now and always. I will never forget you...

The cage now lies empty. Salt's home, will be the only remaining proof that Salt ever existed in the family. Goodbye...

Absence of the blogger...

Well readers, its been awhile since i last updated this little story book of mine. Laziness somehow overpowered me and for that, I sincerely apologize to all of you.

Well, throughout the holidays, it is not that I've been loafing around the computer (not 100% true), I've been pretty busy as well...I'll let the pictures take it from here...

Holiday plans! Keep healthy! Mau called a few of us out for a jog somewhere in Ujong Pasir. Well, I went there with Wai Meng after the gym. One should have called it a day, but, can't let a friend down now, can I?

Also, a little gym challenge, clap push ups!

video

But overall, nothing much happened during the holidays. Theres nothing much to do. At least, I did not spent it 'cam-whoring' like a certain someone over here...

But this holiday is indeed a good one. I just require a little more discipline to study and it would be perfect. But theres nothing perfect in life now is there? Haha. I'll get back to you readers with a better story to tell...and this time, I promise, no more procrastination...

A 360 surprise...

Days after school would usually end up with me attempting to pursue my academic requirements.
The thing is, it is extremely hard to do so. Well last week, the stakes are a little different. When I came home from school, I saw this...

What would an XBOX 360 be doing here in my room?!

Who bought it?!

Well, it all seemed nice...except the fact that it's directly beside my study table...you guys should know what it meant...

But of course, like any ordinary human...I would definitely try it out...and of course not study the whole day...

The best thing that this device has is the ability to play this particular game...

Well at first, a glimpse of this game reminds me of this...

and maybe this....maybe not...p/s: batman is GAY!

But it turns out that this game was a total AWESOME! I definitely loved the dark, gloomy and tensed feeling which the game provides. Especially the stealth and extreme combats! Here are some of the screenshots...

And also a video trailer on this really cool game...
video

But overall, this console nearly killed my spirit to study and I'm forcing myself to go to the temple regularly...

But over all, after the death of my once upon a time PS2 console...

This XBOX 360 will definitely provide a new experience here in my life...

Many In One...

Greatest apologies to the dear readers of this blog. Due to the busy weekend, this blog was unable to be updated last week. Nothing much happened last week except about me and the gang spending nearly 75% of our time at the Sek Kia Enh (Inform me if it is incorrectly spelt) temple not to pray but study.

THE BEGINNING

Well I've got to say, its nearly impossible to study in our usual environment though some really can do it. Here's the proof...

In the physics lecture room....

Its really really hard to focus with people wandering about, chatting and loafing around.

And not forgetting the mischiefs...

In the end, we came to a conclusion after discussing around the square tables...

In order to please the demands of the merciless teachers of Lower 6 Alpha...we've tried so hard...

Going through extreme geographical terrains ... just to be at the one place we could study...

Worked so hard till our brain overheated and our back ached....

And suffered the wrath of 'Good Drivers' with exceptional parking abilities...

But our dear teachers...although with the hardships we go through, we always thought positive about life....

Please teachers, do understand. We are trying our best to score and to make you proud. All it needs...is time...which we do not have...GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

Remembering the Blogger...

Celebrating your birthday on Deepavali was rather interesting as some of you might say.

Imagine after all those rendang, cookies and 'chappati's (Jabuteh) you ate earlier, you need to eat even more weird stuffs as a part of your birthday dinner. For mine, I had some weird 'Kimchi's from a Korean restaurant near my house....

After that, my family insisted on a birthday song...with a ruined birthday cake thanks to my sister's 'bright' idea...

At least I'm not the only October baby in my house....there are too other birthday boy/girls...

Here are the October babies....

At least their cakes ware perfect....

The house which was filled with squels and excitement soon turned quiet...

Everyone was missing...

In the end, I found all of them here...

And they're watching some sort of weird video...

And that was how I learnt about this video...watch it, my dear readers...you'll enjoy it...

video

The song he sings...it makes my ear bleed! But just in case anyone of you is interested in him, you can find him in Indonesia...or you can just find more of him in www.youtube.com.

So much for this post....once again....A HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OCTOBER BABIES!!!
especially me....muahahahahahaa

Deepawalee...

Deepavali was indeed an insane holiday especially when you got lots of invitations from your Indian friends. This post will explain everything.

Deepavali is all about meeting your friends and families and more importantly, like J.J and Rudy says...the FOOD!
You can never say no to the rendang, curry, chappati (Jabuteh) etc etc.
So, the day before, as a precautionary step, my friends and I increased our training session to compensate for our loss the next day...

Our gym training pictures...

The next day, of course, was Deepavali....and, before I proceed to Malacca Mall to gather with the gang, I motivated myself with this piece of video clip...Do watch my dear readers, its a part of the story...
video

Our first destination was Shushilan's house which was located IN JASIN! Imagine how far is that from town. But since Deepawalee occurs only once a year, we do not mind...

This is my driver for the day, Winford Goh. P/S: He is a really "CAUTIOUS" driver...

And Ming Ann actually preferred sitting in Winford's car rather than Mau's...or is it that he wants to leave Mau and Shir Ling (tell me if I spelt it wrongly) alone. But anyhow, he made the wrong decision...

Experience sitting in Winford's car...

If it weren't for this little device, we would be lost....

Anyways, we got there in time...

Ok...maybe a little later than expected...
Remember that video "Diet vs Exercise" above? Imagine that you have to control yourself from these...

Fine, fine...I couldn't resist it...

Random photos...

After that, it was Suresh's house!

Next, it was Gugan's.

And Low was partially molested at Gugan's house...

I was too busy eating at Candra's house that too few pictures were taken...except this one on Ah Pek gobbling up the last of the 'Muruku's.

And last but not least, Bavani's house...

Of course with an extra load of muttons and curries...

Deepawalee was an entirely wonderful experience for the gang as well as for myself. Thanks to the generosity of my fellow friends. HAPPY DEEPAVALI!!!

Chapter 5 : The Only Love That Ever Existed.

I can sense that this girl was abused emotionally but I do not know whether it was really as severe as she had mentioned or is it that she is being childish and immature. Just when I was about to ask her another question, an ambulance raced by. The sirens from the ambulance captured eveyone's attention. Even Eliza was astonished by the sudden noise which killed the silence in the air.

She stared at the ambulance as it disappears down the street. She was staring at it for quite some time.
Then, she spoke, "Have you ever seen your grandmother?"

"No. She died before I was born."
"I pity you..."
"Why?"
"Because I've seen my grandmother."

Now this was awkward. My grandmother was called home to be with the Lord before I even existed in my mother's womb. Why would she pity me for something like this?

"My father, after my mother's death, was terribly upset and so asked my grandmother to stay with me in our home." She said.
"My grandmother, was the greatest grandmother a child could ever ask for. She was all the support I need besides my father."

I stared at her silently. Waiting for her to continue expressing herself.
"My father was away at work most of the time. I can only see him at night when he comes home. Because of that, I spend more time with my grandmother than my father. Grandmother would always bring me out for a walk in the park, teach me about the little shrubs, birds, insects and sometimes tell me some wild stories. The wildest would become serials which lasted many many days."

She took a sip from her cup, sighed, and continued talking,"Did you know that, a bullfrog croaks by bloating up the skin under their heads?"
"No."
"They do this to attract their mates. Sometimes, the bullfrog gets too amused with the wonderful sound of his croak that its wife had to nudge it so that it'll stop."

That piece of information made me giggle.

"My grandmother told me that."
"Why didn't you go to your grandmother then? Whenever you're bullied by your step-mother?"
"That witch never liked my grandmother. She told my father to send her to the House for the Elderly. The worst part is, my father did it without and reluctance."
"He wouldn't!"
"He did! If the place was far from my house, I think that my grandmother would suffer greatly without my presence."

I was shocked to learn that Mr.Richmon was a heartless man.

"But grandmama and I continued to see each other every day. She would advice me, cherish me with unmeasurable love and care. I would sometimes sleep overnight with her in the House for the Elderly and father would scold her harshly the next day."

To be continued...
