A New Home

28th of May, 2011.

I arrived to a new condominium to which is suppose to be my new 'temporary' home. Starting a life is the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur is indeed very exciting compared to the boring life in Malacca. However, I am not living there alone, Jared Gan came with me. Well, both of us wanted to study in the same university and hence, here we are....

The first sight upon entering the apartment...well theres the kitchen
The bathroom....
And beautiful lights...

And not to mention....

I guess that some other people are moving in too....crazily lots of stuff...

And of course...their chocolate...

Well, I didn't bring much compared to ALL and I meant ALL the other housemates...

Don't believe? Feast your eyes on the truth...
Yeah, the eggs are mine too...

But if compared to my room mate, Jared,

The others spent nearly the whole day unpacking their stuffs while I relaxed and watched them. Of course I had some problems when I had to walk to the nearest store which is really far away to buy necessary items...

30th May, 2011

The next biggest event in our lives ( Me and Jared ) was the beginning of a life in a university...
Well ours is UTAR

Lets start by observing a little vandalism...

The lecture hall...

And of course...the canteen...I believe that I can say this and it will be true...The canteen here is a million times much better than that in MALACCA HIGH SCHOOL!!!

Well, this really seem like a disappointing post but there really isn't much going on yet in the university...time to log off for now...so long dear readers...

Fish For Lunch and Fish For Show...

Saturday, 23rd April 2011. Thats the day Nigel proposed a plan to visit KL (Kuala Lumpur) for one final celebration before departure to Aimst university in Kedah not too far in the future.

Well the main reason I went up was because coincidently, I wanted to meet Jo Ann in KL too. Maybe going up there in a group wouldn't hurt.

Although the bad beginning ( I woke up at 8.30am when the bus was supposed to leave at 9.00am), the trip went well without flaws (I am not going to consider getting lost for a while at KLCC a flaw).

Lets get going, shall we?

Our first destination was Saisaki! A japanese buffet restaurant.

Though a good buffet restaurant, it was no match compared to Jogoya at Starhill Gallery
but it was definitely better than my everyday breakfast...
UGH! Oatmeal!

Nevertheless, the food was delicious as well as filling...

Well, for good food, there must definitely be a good price too! ( For the restaurant, not us...)
And we got some discount coupons too! So maybe its kinda worth the price...

After that, Nigel decided that we should go to Aquaria in KLCC ( Since we're bored so we agreed to him).

Aquaria Entrance!

Well, Aquaria is an interesting form of exhibition...so as would happen in many exhibition to come...pictures! Here are some pictures taken from the place...

Sea turtle!!

I thought this crustacean was extinct...well I guess I was wrong...

Giant Fish...it looks much much bigger than you're seeing in this picture...

Jo Ann never seen so many fishes before...

Weird looking tortoise...

Me and Jo Ann!

Weird looking rat...again it looks much bigger than you're seeing in this picture...
Electric catfish...no hands allowed in the water...
Jo Ann posing for the camera...

Some other pictures....Guess who are these people..

Sadly Nigel managed to crawl out after getting his picture taken...or else it would definitely make my day... :D

Eel...

Are they mating?
Mr Lonely...

Touching the mating crabs...

Weird frogs...playing dead in the water...
A shy octopus...

Crazy poses...from left...Nigel, Waygene, Kai Shern...
Nigel posing with Shi Min...

Sexy shrimp...

No...ugly shrimp...More pictures...
Kai Shern and Shi Min...
Nigel and Yi Ting...

Group photos...

Silly photos...Nigel looks like he never watched 'Discovery channel' before...

And after a wonderful day, we finished it by going shopping. Of course, I went shopping with Jo Ann, the rest are on their own.

And as bad as it happened to me in the morning ( waking up late), another bad thing happened at night. When some of us wanted to take a nap due to exhaustion, the bus driver made us listen to nearly 2 hours of ridiculous karaoke music...

But overall, it was exciting and we do feel sad when we had to leave KL and return to Malacca...A memorable trip like this will definitely be repeated!!
